People want a cleaner answer. What do you do. They want industry, title, a sentence that fits a bio. I have tried those. They go stale. The one that has not gone stale is shorter.

Simply put, I move things.

Cartons, shipments, sometimes a process that was stuck because everyone thought moving things was someone else's job. I consult in logistics. I live in Singapore. I have been close to last-mile long enough to be bored of clever descriptions. The freight does not need a clever description. It needs a next step.

If you cannot say what you move, you are probably moving a story.

The bio is the wrong problem

The wrong question is how to position yourself. Position is what you do when you are afraid the work is not obvious. My work is obvious. Something is here. It needs to be there. Between those two points there is paperwork, a vehicle, a partner, a scan, a person at a door. Most failures hide in those boring words.

I used to think I had to sound bigger than that. Regional. Strategic. End-to-end. Those words are how you scale a sentence. They are also how you lose the plot. End-to-end is a slide. The actual end is a recipient who either has the thing or does not.

What moving things forces you to learn

It forces you to respect process, because charisma does not clear customs. It forces you to put tools in their place, because a tracker is not a warehouse. It forces you to treat partners as capacity, not as a brain you rented. If they think for you, they will think like them, on your invoice.

It also forces a kind of honesty I did not have at 17, when I was running projects on nerve. Nerve still helps. Nerve does not tell you why a shipment sat for a day in a location that is really a shrug.

I am not a poet of supply chain. I am the person who asks where it is, who owns the next handoff, and what we will do if the cut-off is already dead. That is the whole craft, and it does not need a metaphor.

If you need a line

Use this one. I move things. Then go do it on purpose. Write the path. Name the owner. Do not buy software to hide a mess. Do not hire a partner to hide that you never defined the mess.

The rest of the bio can wait. The parcel cannot.
